Here’s our top five tricks for scoring with these reviewers:

  1. Go to each site, read their submissions policies, and follow them to the letter
  2. Make sure your writing is a good fit for the site
  3. Include a brief (3pp or less) cover letter demonstrating that you really understand their focus, and how your book fits—without BS!
  4. Follow the site on Facebook & Twitter, and re-post and re-tweet helpfully
  5. Let your writing do the speaking & don’t badger them. (We mean it!)
